Description

Al Mio Amico Inzolia – Chardonnay is a white wine produced by Tenute dello Jato in western Sicily, near Monreale, in the valley dominated by Monte Jato.

This Terre Siciliane IGP wine is made from a blend of Inzolia (50%) and Chardonnay (50%), combining the character of a native Sicilian grape with the elegance of an international variety.

The wine displays a bright straw-yellow color with golden reflections and reveals aromas of citrus fruits, tropical fruits, floral notes and delicate hints of almond, hazelnut and vanilla.

On the palate it is fresh, savory and well balanced, with good persistence and a refined finish.

Part of the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by a short aging period in barrique, giving the wine additional complexity before bottle refinement.
